Visa-Free Travel to Mongolia for Maldivians
Maldivian nationals can now travel to Mongolia without needing a visa. This new policy, effective from Monday, allows Maldivians with valid Diplomatic, Official, and Ordinary passports to enter and stay in Mongolia for up to thirty (30) days from their date of entry.

The Foreign Ministry clarified that under the visa exemption agreement signed between the two countries on August 17, 2023, Maldivians who plan to stay longer than thirty days, work, attend an educational institution, or conduct business in Mongolia will still need to obtain the appropriate visa before traveling.
